Project management and documentation

We are committed to ensuring the correct management and control of projects entrusted to us.

IBAF assumes full ownership of project work and the associated documentation as a means of reducing both the number of interfaces involved and the overall cost of the programme.

Range of services

  • Monitoring of budgets and schedules
  • Consultation and coordination with specialist producers; vendor control
  • Preparation of project, tender and approval documentation
  • Preparations for CE conformity marking

Monitoring of budgets and schedules

Especially when there are many project partners involved in a project, losses quickly occur at the interfaces. Hence, in addition to keeping a close eye on our own budgets and schedules, we also offer to coordinate the various other activities and trades involved, pool all salient information and – through these actions – provide effective whole-picture monitoring.

Consultation and coordination with specialist producers; vendor control

We serve as the interface to specialist producers and other project partners, not only organisationally, but also in terms of engineering content and advice. We define the technical requirements, coordinate preferential solutions and compare proposals with regard to technical content, performance parameters and compliance with specifications, thus minimising client effort and expense.

Preparation of project, tender and approval documentation

In addition to the technical concept, a successful project also requires the appropriate documentation for explanation, approval or tendering/RFQ purposes. Since we know what is important in a project, we are able to effectively support such provision and the associated tasks in a target-led fashion.

Preparations for CE conformity marking

CE marking is necessary as confirmation of system or product safety. In the preparatory phase, we can provide important, specialist input in relation to hazard analysis, risk assessment and FMEA, and we will support you in compiling the documents and drafting the operating instructions to the point where everything is ready to be signed.
